Description.
A barrel-shaped bead made of natural agate, with an elongated profile and rounded edges. It has a dark brown background against which three circular ‘eye’ motifs stand out in the central section, segmented by vertical lines and sinuous bands that create a geometric composition known as the ‘Lotus Master’s Ritual Object: Three Eyes’. This type of bead, highly prized in Tibetan culture, is associated with energy and protection. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
