A necklace of forty-one agate beads, Liao dynasty

Composed of carved agate beads. It features a rhythmic alternation of 20 translucent agate beads with 19 green agate beads containing natural inclusions. The piece is finished with two additional beads at the end. It shows patina and natural wear from the passage of time. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
