Description.
A pair of circular porcelain plates with low sides that flare out from a short ring foot towards a flared rim. The pieces are covered with a ‘purple-brown’ (zijin) glaze that was very popular during the middle and late Ming Dynasty. Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) or later.
