African style figurine ‘Bakota locket’, Gabon

Sculpture in the style of African art. Made of wood and metal, the body of the figure is depicted in the shape of a rhombus holding an oval-shaped head. The front of the work is partially covered with metal embossed with geometric decorations. On the sides there are several cylindrical wooden projections also covered in metal. 

It shows wear due to age.
