Description.
Bracelet made up of fifteen spherical agate beads in shades of green and yellow, arranged on elastic thread. The beads have a characteristic concentric veining and chromatic bands that evoke the optical effect known as ‘cat's eye’, attributable to the internal fibrous structure of the mineral and its natural inclusions. The satin polish accentuates the contrast between the opaque and translucent areas, creating an interesting visual effect. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
