Description.
Carved agate Dzi bead (གཟི།), tubular in shape with a barrel profile. It has a dark brown body, subtly lighter towards the ends, decorated with three wide longitudinal white bands, framed by fine silver filigree. The piece shows a soft patina due to its age. Tang Dynasty (618-906).
