A Dzi-style ritual bead with a stylised form and remarkable length, crafted from natural agate, featuring a beautiful alternation of wavy bands in shades of cream, smoky grey and ivory white distributed along its length. Perforated lengthwise. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
