Description.
Small, robust oval-shaped Dzi bead (གཟི།) carved from agate. The piece has a bluish-green background, on which an ochre pattern of lines and circles or ‘eyes’ is engraved. The surface shows patina due to ageing. Qing dynasty (1644-1912).
