Description.
Barrel-shaped agate Dzi bead. The dark brown surface has been engraved to create a continuous pattern in shades of white. The decoration, known as “Buddha's eye” or “net,” consists of a mesh of interlocking rhombuses or diamonds, each with a central point or “eye.” It shows patina from aging.
