Description.
Tubular, barrel-shaped Dzi bead (གཟི།) made of agate. The piece has a milky white base, on which the pattern has been engraved in a clear brown tone. The decoration features the ancient motif of the ‘swastika’, a symbol of profound spiritual significance. Tang Dynasty (618-906).
