Description.
Tubular, barrel-shaped Dzi bead (གཟི།). It has an off-white background with a brown pattern. The decoration consists of a ‘福寿’ motif, two irregularly written characters, with a longitudinal line running through them. It shows patina due to ageing. Tang Dynasty (618-906).
