Description.
Ochre-coloured agate with clear white and dark brown decorations. The piece is spindle-shaped with a longitudinal perforation. It features a geometric design of “nine eyes” connected by sinuous lines that create a stepped pattern. The piece shows extensive patina due to ageing and erosion. Tang Dynasty (618–907) or later.
