Description.
A necklace composed of tubular Dzi beads made of banded agate in shades of brown, ochre and reddish tones, interspersed with smaller spheres, and finished at the centre by a majestic zoomorphic pendant carved from translucent reddish agate in the shape of a fish, featuring bulging eyes and a broad, finely incised tail. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
