Description.
A tubular-shaped carved agate, slightly widened in the centre with a transverse perforation. It features nine circular ‘eye’ motifs arranged in three bands, separated by sinuous lines and scrollwork that run along the entire body. It shows a patina resulting from ageing. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
