Description.
A seal carved from red agate with subtle translucent ivory-coloured veins and a silky texture. The upper part features a highly dynamic depiction of a coiled dragon in high relief, with a scaly body, open jaws and sharp claws; the front retains a handwritten label (乾隆二十六年收), whilst the base bears a mark inscribed in seal script. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
