Agate, silver and amazonite bead necklace, Yuan dynasty

Composed of elongated agate beads, silver, and a central amazonite pendant. The agate beads feature distinctive natural banding in shades of brown, ochre, and white. The silver end caps and spacers show patina from natural oxidation of the metal. The central pendant, carved from soft blue-green amazonite, is semi-circular in shape. With signs of wear and age. Yuan dynasty (1271–1368).
