Description.
Dzi type cylindrical bead (གཟི།), carved in dark brown tone agate with cream decoration. It features a central circular motif (“eye”) flanked by bands and a protective symbol on the reverse. The surface is polished and shows fine craquelure. These pieces were used as protective amulets in Tibetan and Central Asian contexts. Mounted on modern thread. Tang Dynasty (618-907) or later.
