Description.
Tibetan astrological pendant or amulet (九宫八卦牌), made of bronze with a dark patina from wear. The obverse features a diagram of concentric circles incorporating the grid of the nine magical palaces, the eight trigrams, the twelve zodiac animals and an outer border with protective inscriptions. It is strung on a cord alongside a small agate bead and a large spherical turquoise bead.
