Description.
Mixed media on paper. A female figure occupies the foreground. She is in a hunched posture, with her hands crossed over her stomach. A rectangular geometric structure emerges behind the woman’s head. It frames her floating face, which bears an expression of anguish. The background is abstract and blurred, featuring shades of ochre, yellow, and gray. Notable are the use of grainy textures and bold brushstrokes. Signed and dated in the lower right corner: “A. de Ignacio 1972”
