Description.
A glazed ceramic figurine by Peyró depicting a seated woman holding a book. She wears a traditional ruffled dress with a profuse print of yellow and reddish floral motifs. Her shoulders are draped with a black Manila shawl featuring wide carved fringes and finished with a blue flower over her chest. In her hair, pulled back into a low bun, a large comb or floral ornament in reddish tones stands out. It bears the Peyró company seal on its base.
