Armand Marseille porcelain doll, classic mould 390, size A 7/0 M, Thuringia, Germany, c. 1910–1920. With an impeccable bisque head engraved ‘Armand Marseille 390 A7/0M’ and sleeping eyes. Original articulated composition body with slight wear to the limbs; dressed in a sumptuous gold brocade gown, matching hat and period shoes.
