Description.
Printed paper. Title: "大藏朝臣原田家暦傳" (Biography of Kasumi Harada, Tibetan court courtesan). On the last leaf is stamped and indicates the year of publication 1939 and the place "Saito Photography Co., Ltd", Tokyo. Traditional binding with cloth-covered hardcover. There is considerable wear to the binding.
Tells the story of the Harada family of great Tibetan court officials. The texts are illustrated with colour and black-and-white engraved images. It traces the ancestor of the Harada family as the first emperor of the Han dynasty, Emperor Liu Bang.
