‘Birds and Poem’ vase, with Jingdezhen Ceramics Institute mark

Made of porcelain. It has an ovoid body with rounded shoulders, a cylindrical neck and an everted rim. It is notable for its pictorial decoration in polychrome glazes, depicting a nature scene with birds perched on flowering branches. The reverse features a lengthy inscription in black ink, flanked by coral-coloured geometric borders on the neck and base. The base bears the stamp ‘景德镇陶瓷学院·.
