Description.
The figure is made of biscuit glazed porcelain. It shows the middle-aged Chairman Mao in a Sun Yatsen-style suit jacket, standing with his right arm raised in salute and his left hand holding a cap. On the base is marked "002" twice. It is restored in one hand and the trunk.
The pose of the figure is the same as in thousands of monumental statues erected in the cities during the Cultural Revolution, at the height of Chairman Mao's personality cult.
