Description.
A pendant amulet made of jet-black agate with traces of cinnabar pigment. It depicts a crouching ox with a serene expression, crowned by curved horns and richly adorned with archaic incised scrollwork and grid-like patterns. Eastern Zhou Dynasty (770–221 B.C.) or later.
