Description.
An amulet with a flattened biconical-fusiform shape, crafted from natural agate in an exotic indigo blue hue with sinuous bands of white and navy blue. The natural layering of the stone forms a ‘celestial eye’ in the centre, highly sought after for its protective properties. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
