Description.
Porcelain moon vase, whose flattened circular body is joined to a cylindrical neck by two elegant scroll-shaped handles. The cobalt blue decoration centres on a large lobed medallion on each side, adorned with a bouquet of peonies in bloom, framed by an intricate design of lotus scrolls. The base bears the six-character mark “大清乾隆年制” in underglaze blue. The lot is accompanied by a Certificate of Antiquity issued by the Hong Kong Art Craft Merchants Association in 1980.
