Description.
A porcelain bowl decorated in blue underglaze over white enamel. The piece has a classical form, with an open body and a slightly raised base. The exterior is ornamented with lobed panels framing stylised lotus flowers against a background of spirals in a repeating design. Inside, in the centre, is a simple flower with a stem and leaves, also painted in blue. The base is unglazed at the supporting ring, with no visible mark. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
