Blue and white porcelain box ‘Lotus and ruyis’, with mark

Cylindrical porcelain box with lid and blue and white underglaze decoration (cobalt). It has a barrel-shaped body and a slightly domed lid. It is decorated with a dense pattern of intertwined lotus stems and flowers covering the body and lid. The rim of the lid and base feature a band with ruyi and dot patterns. The base bears an underglaze mark in blue reading “御賜純一堂制”.
