Blue and white porcelain plate “Dragon,” Kangxi Qing Dynasty

Finely painted cobalt blue porcelain plate underglaze. The interior is decorated with a central medallion depicting a vigorous five-clawed dragon writhing among clouds. The outer walls show a continuous scene of two dragons chasing each other amid flames and clouds above the foot. The base, inside a double circle, bears a six-character imperial mark “大清康熙年制”.
