Bowl ‘Birds among branches’ in blue and white, with Chenghua seal

A porcelain bowl decorated in blue on a white background. The piece has an elegant form with slightly open sides and a smooth rim. The exterior is delicately ornamented with a continuous motif of blossoming branches among which small birds fly, all executed in smooth lines. The interior remains plain and undecorated, with the translucent white glaze standing out. On the base is a six-character seal ‘大明成化年制’.
