Description.
Tall conical bowl with a bronze-gilt base, decorated with cloisonné enamels. Against a turquoise background, a scene depicts beasts chasing a flaming pearl. The interior, richly decorated, features a central medallion with a beast and a wide border with flowers among waves. The base is decorated with floral motifs. The piece is made in the highly prized Xuande style.
