Bowl with wucai enamels, “Courtly Scene”, Qing dynasty

Porcelain bowl decorated using the Wucai technique, which combines underglaze blue with polychrome enamels. Its outer walls are completely painted with a continuous narrative battle scene, featuring warriors and dignitaries in a pavilion. Inside, a central medallion depicts a landscape scene with a scholar and a fisherman. Set on a gilded metal base.
