Description.
Tibetan ritual amulet (九宫八卦牌), cast in bronze with a dark patina, strung on a gold-coloured cord with a spherical reddish agate bead and an openwork metal pin featuring a vishvavajra. The circular plaque features the astrological cosmogram in relief, comprising the Nine Palaces square, the eight trigrams of the Bagua and the twelve animals of the zodiac. Tibet, Qing dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
