Description.
Sculpture of Shakyamuni Buddha cast in bronze or patinated metal, depicted in a meditative position on a double lotus base. The Buddha is shown in Shakyamuni's signature Earth-grasping mudra, with his right hand facing the ground and his left hand resting on his lap. He wears an ornate robe with floral reliefs and auspicious motifs that covers his left shoulder and leaves his right shoulder uncovered. The head features prominent ushnisha, elongated ears, and a serene expression. The back base is decorated with an inscription in Tibetan characters.
