Description.
A square-shaped bronze seal topped by the figure of two intertwined dragons harmoniously surrounding a thick lingzhi branch. The dragons, symbols of power and protection, have sinuous bodies with incised scrolls and heads erect in a watchful attitude, while their bodies curve elegantly around the central branch. The lingzhi is characterized by its sturdy stem and the lobed shapes of its cap. The base of the seal is engraved with seal script characters. It displays an aged golden patina. Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) or later.
