A teapot with an elegant pear-shaped silhouette, made of bronze and decorated with polychrome cloisonné enamel on a turquoise background. The piece features a long, cylindrical neck that expands toward the spout, crowned by a domed lid with a spherical gilt knob. The body widens progressively toward the base, resting on a ring-shaped foot decorated with stylized waves.
The surface is meticulously enamelled with a combination of floral, plant, and geometric motifs arranged in registers. The body features large petal-shaped cartouches, each containing natural scenes with blossoming plum branches, bamboo leaves, chrysanthemums, and garden rocks. These motifs are outlined with gilt threads. The rest of the body is profusely covered with floral scrolls, intertwined with lotus flowers, peonies, and leaves. The neck is decorated with ascending branches of stylized leaves and a horizontal band with five-petalled flowers. The curved handle and long, arched spout are completely covered with multicoloured flowers on a turquoise background.
