Description.
This porcelain is modelled in the form of a vessel with an oval base and rounded profile, tapering into an elongated, thin mouth. It is adorned with the image of a traditional Foo lion, executed in relief, showing prominent musculature, a luxuriant curly mane, almond-shaped eyes, and large open jaws showing sharp fangs. It is covered with a beautiful light-blue glaze. On the base is a six-character relief stamp ‘大清乾隆年制’.
