Description.
A natural agate bead, spindle-shaped, with a striking colour contrast between dark brown and ivory white. It features a large central almond-shaped motif representing the ‘eye of wisdom’, framed by circular bands and transverse lines at the ends. With an antique patina. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
