Mixed media on canvas. The work presents a conceptual and symbolic language on a textile support in an ochre tone or natural linen. The composition is articulated through two main groups of figures delineated with a fine, precise black line: in the upper section, a series of intertwined children in floating poses are accompanied by an accumulation of small, raised white lines or beads. In the lower half, a group of headless, nude male figures are depicted crawling or creeping in a dense linear superimposition. Both groups are visually connected by a diagram or constellation of circular dotted lines that crosses the middle plane. Signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right corner, "Capelán," and numbered as a limited edition, "156/99," in the lower left corner. Year: 2003.
Size: 107 × 79 cm
