Description.
Crafted from natural agate in a translucent honey hue. It has a cylindrical shape, with thick walls and gently rounded edges. The piece is notable for its natural veining, which forms an oval-shaped patch in shades of cream and ochre, creating an ‘eye’. It shows signs of patina due to ageing. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
