Description.
Made of dark brown and black agate with an attractive alternation of bands and natural circular veins in milky white and honey tones that form organic patterns. The piece has an elongated spindle shape. It stands out for the central placement of a perfectly circular ‘eye,’ which acts as a visual focus and symbol of spiritual protection. Liao Dynasty (916–1125) or later.
