Description.
Dzi bead or Tibetan protective amulet, made from a single piece of faluo or ‘法螺天珠’. Unlike engraved beads, its value lies in the inherent patterns of the stone itself. Tubular, the piece displays a beautiful translucent honey colour, with multiple natural circular formations. Faluo or ‘Sky Stone’ is a sedimentary rock that contains various elements in its composition, such as jade, agate and crystalline minerals.
