Description.
Hetian jade buckle carved in high relief depicting a dragon with a sinuous body among scrolls and curvilinear motifs. The piece, ivory with slight darker shades, has a longitudinal hole in the back for use as a buckle or decorative accessory. Qing dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
