Description.
Carved Hetian jade stone, naturally shaped and creamy white, with a rich bright orange ‘skin’, used as part of the decoration. The decoration is based on long incised poems that extend across both sides. It is presented on a custom-made textile stand and in a lined box. Qing dynasty (1644–1912).
