Description.
Carved from whitish jade, cylindrical in shape. It features incised decoration on its outer surface with stylised calligraphic motifs and a small scene in a harbour. These pieces, in addition to their practical function, were symbols of status during the Qing dynasty. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
