Description.
Set of 20 carved jade plaques in creamy white with marked veins and reddish-brown and ochre inclusions. These are fine belt decorations in various modular shapes (rectangular, square and circular/oval), all smooth, without carved decoration, highlighting the natural colour of the stone. They have multiple perforations on the edges and corners for fastening. Ming dynasty (1368-1644).
