Description.
Pale celadon-coloured nephrite jade with a polished finish, carved in the shape of a bottle with a slender body and cylindrical neck, resting on a rectangular foot. The body is lavishly decorated with two imperial dragons in high relief, which encircle the piece amidst stylised clouds and flames, their sinuous bodies covered in scales. The concave lid is topped with a knob carved in the round. Qing Dynasty (1644–1911).
