Description.
Crafted from jade with a soft yellowish hue, covered by a rich ochre-coloured patina or ‘skin’ with an earthy, mottled texture. The piece is circular in shape, with a rounded rim. It shows signs of wear due to age. Ming Dynasty (1368–1644) or later.
