Description.
Celadon-coloured jade with extensive areas of whitish calcification and ochre veins, carved into the shape of a quadrangular-bodied conch with a central cylindrical channel. The piece features a symmetrical division at its four corners, decorated with subtle reliefs depicting ritual taotie masks. Liangzhu culture (c. 3300–2300 BC) or later.
